David F. Sawyer is a 1994 graduate of the University of Michigan. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1997.

While attending law school Mr. Sawyer clerked for the Honorable Fred M. Mester, Oakland County Circuit Court. Mr. Sawyer’s practice has covered a wide range of legal areas from personal injury, to employment litigation, manufacturer’s representative suits, business torts, real estate transactions, commercial development, construction litigation, business collections, estate planning, probate matters, and family law.

He has handled numerous legal matters to successful conclusion in the counties of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Washtenaw, as well as the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and before panels of the American Arbitration Association.

Mr. Sawyer  is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and served as the  former chairman of its Membership Committee. He is a member of the General Practice, Labor and Employment, and Probate and Estate Planning sections of the State Bar of Michigan. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Troy.
